A Personal Testimony of Someone Touched by Young Life Ministry
Abby's Story: "I used to think Christians had no contact with reality, and were totally nuts. Oddly, a few summers ago I couldn't get the urge to go to church out of my head. Months later, I went to church for the first time in eons. I thought I knew all about being a Christian, because my parents raised me to be one. I believed in God, and that's all I thought was necessary, because I could be a new type of Christian, who doesn't need to read the bible or anything. Finally a friend got me to go to Campaigners once (Young Life's weekly meeting to help kids grow in their faith). That's all it took! After that one night I realized I had it all wrong and needed to turn things around. A few months later I accepted Christ as Savior. God has totally transformed my life, and everything I thought was so weird about Christians before is part of my daily life, which I have to say, is a tad strange!" (Abby will be graduating from Greely High School in June).
