|What the Marriage Weekend is All About:
In our busy everyday lives, we may not take the time to nurture and strengthen our marriages. This is a time to get away and focus on this most precious commodity – our marriage. Large group sessions include times of worship, testimonies and teaching, followed by small group interaction, and guided one-on-one times. For the past twelve years, hundreds of couples have deepened their relationships by attending the Marriage Weekend.
Is your marriage a team? Is it a winning team? Do you take time out to nurture your relationship? The marriage weekend allows you time together away and focus on this precious commodity: your marriage.
The marriage weekend includes times of worship, large group sessions, small group interactions and one-on-one time. Come strengthen your relationship and meet other couples doing the same, while enjoying a weekend away.
This year's theme:
“Communication as a Team of Two”
When couples become married they have a great view of all the joy and anticipation of a life focused on each other and success. When pressures of life and stress come, couples tend to retreat to the isolation of doing life and ministry alone. The concept of “Team of Two” is designed to address the drifting that occurs in the couple’s lives of going in parallel or opposite directions. Instead, the couples are challenged to build a life of “Us-ness” by applying four key shifts in their lives together.
