Did you know that a child's values are already being formed by the time he or she has reached the age of 2? What children learn in the first years has a significant influence on the values they develop and the choices they make. As children grow, those values determine who they become, what they will stand up for, and how they influence the world. It is because of this that Bethany devotes a strong focus to our Children's Ministry. Our programs, serving infants through sixth-graders, are built on the latest educational research so our kids can connect with the Bible's never-ending, timeless truths through a fresh approach and learn how to carry those truths into everyday life.
Sunday Mornings in Kids Ministries
9:00am
Ages 2 - Kindergarten: First Look
Our goal is to help every child know…really know…that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
Grades 1-4: 252 Basics
Kids are challenged to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships.
Grades 5-6: Merge
9:00am program for preteens, as they learn to ‘Merge’ real faith with real life.
11:00am
Combined classes for: Nursery and Toddlers; 2 and 3 year olds; 4 and 5 yr olds.
Grades 1-6 learn together using the 252 Basics Curriculm. They meet together for large group time then break out into smaller groups.
Wednesday Evening Program in Kids Ministries
Wednesdays - Beginning January 9 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Nursery
Infants through 18 months receive loving care while parents have opportunity to grow in our worship services.
Toddlers
Little ones 18 months or older with steady walking skills, children ‘graduate’ to our toddler room where Bible lessons are incorporated into structured play, helping these little ones develop growing skills and a love for the God who made them.
2 Year to Kindergarten (Greenland)
Our preschool curriculum, First Look, is awesome! Our goal is to help every child know…really know…that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. This is accomplished through a wonderful mix of fun games and activities in classroom small groups, then kids meet in a larger room for worship and Bible stories. Kids are actively involved in worship and learn a Bible verse every month.

Using our curriculum, 252 Basics, Kids are challenged to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships. They engage in both small group and large group gatherings. Worship and teaching occur in the large group setting, while activities and personal engagement occur during small group times.

5th & 6th Grades (Greenland)
‘Merge’ is our 9:00am program for preteens. Preteen learn how to ‘Merge’ real faith with real life. Using 252 Basics curriculum, the format is similar to grades 1-4, but adapted to be age appropriate for preteens. Encouraging friendships is also a large focus with this age group. It’s a fact that if kids don’t have a friend at church, the likelihood of them continuing to attend as they move to the upper grades greatly diminishes.
During our 11:00am program age groups are combined as follow: Nursery and Toddlers; 2 and 3 year olds; 4 and 5 yr olds; Grades 1-6. Classes offered at 11:00am reflect those at 9:00am.
